Taiwan is one of my favourite countries to visit – delicious food, beautiful sceneries, nostalgic vibes and friendly people – this time I went with my girlfriends and had a blast exploring new and old spots.
This is Part 1 where we visited Alishan and Chiayi. Alishan is a must-visit if you love nature or want to relax – the air is super fresh and you’ll be humbled as you stare at the ancient trees above you. Chiayi is a gem of a city, abundant with delicious food, energetic vibes and youthfulness.
TIPS: Highly recommend staying in local homestays (民宿) and renting a car from Chiayi so that you can visit more places freely. Driving in Taiwan was easy and smooth (get a IDP). The winding roads leading up to Alishan felt like a Daytona experience 😉
Subscribe and stay tuned for Part 2 in Taichung and Taipei!
